The warmest of welcomes from the new owner with the coolest of drinks -
and a pool to dive into at the end of the day. Fascinating talk around
that huge dining table - and such cooking! We couldn't have
wished for better, and look forward to returning one day soon.
My wife and I stayed at "La Tuilierie" for three days in May and must
say that it is one of the best b&b's that we have ever stayed
in . The new owners who took over recently are absolutely fantastic,
Alison and her husband Jonny run the business with help from their
two charming children. Alison who simply cannot do enough for you is
also a fabulous cook, we had dinner on the first night and sat
with the family in the main dining hall of the house which has to be
the most interesting barn conversions in France. They have a lovely
pool in the garden and dogs and horses which have there own restricted
areas if you are not an animal lover. There are also local
ten minutes drive which we tried and were very good. All in
what we paid for our three nights accommodation and meals not to
mention the many bottles of wine we consumed it has to be the
best place we have ever stayed in in France.
We had a wonderful welcome with tea and biscuits, the food was
excellent, accommodation superb,we found everything just like home from
home nothing was too much trouble for Alison and Johnny or any of the
rest of the family. we shall be stopping there again, thanks for a
wonderful stay. best wishes
Warmly welcomed on a grey cold March day. Great log fire
greeted us in the splendid living room. Bedroom was attractive
cosy and we slept like logs. The new owners, Alison and Johnny looked
after us splendidly and we enjoyed the meal and the company.
Highly recommended. Stayed: 03/2008
